Take a four-day horseback trip from our winter pasture near Bishop, California to our pack station in June Lake, California.  Join us while we heard our horses and mules between our winter headquarters to the mountains.  This is a trip for those who would like to experience the life of a cowboy.  You will herd about 100 head of horses and mules along the trail from the pack station to their winter pasture.  An active traveling trip for people of all ages and riding levels.  Your tents and gear will be transported each day and will be waiting for you as you drive the stock into camp.

All trips are full service and include three mountain gourmet meals a day, horse, tack, and camp gear, plus lots of tall stories and singing around the evening campfire.  Personal gear and a sleeping bag is all that is needed.  Riders of all abilities, from beginning to expert are welcome.



We match you with horses suited to your riding ability, whether you're a beginner or an expert.  Our horses are gentle and mountain-trained.

Meet at the pack station in June Lake at 5:00 pm on June 19 th, you will be driven by van to Round Valley for dinner and the start of the trip.


The drive will end at 4:00 pm at the pack station.

Meet at the pack station in June Lake at 8:00 am.  You will park your car and have breakfast at the pack station.  After breakfast, you will meet your horse and start the adventure.
